What is a Direct Cremation?
When someone dies we take them from their place of death to a certified mortuary.
This transfer is respectful and dignified and available 24/7, usually within 2-3 hours of us being notified about the death.
Before we can arrange the cremation, we complete some paperwork with you.
This is done at a time and place that suits you.
Over the phone, by video call or in person.
We also collect some medical certifications from the doctors and health care professionals involved. You don’t need to worry about this.
When all the paperwork is complete, we arrange the cremation as per Australian Govt. standards at an approved and licensed facility.
After the cremation is complete we return the ashes to you in an urn of your choice.
Return of the ashes is usually within 3-4 weeks.
