What is a Direct Cremation?
Put simply, the deceased person is taken directly from their place of death to a certified crematorium.
This transfer is respectful and dignified and available 24/7, usually within 2-3 hours of death occurring (if
at home or in a nursing home) and within a few days (if at a hospital or at the coroners mortuary).
Before the cremation, we need to complete some paperwork with you. This can be done over the phone
or online, whichever suits you.
We also obtain some medical certification from hospital and/or doctors.
At the conclusion of those steps, the person is taken for cremation as per Australian Govt. standards at an approved and licensed facility.
It's not complicated, but there are a number of steps to follow and we offer full support throughout.
As soon as the ashes are available, we pick them up and put them in a biodegradable scattering urn of your choice and then return the ashes to you, in person, usually within 3 weeks.

You Complete The Case Forms
You complete information relating to your Case and the details of your loved one.
Our system collates and organises all the specifics so the correct forms and legal notices can be completed. -
Cremation Is Done & We Deliver The Ashes
The cremation is completed and we return the ashes to you soon after.
This is usually completed within 3 weeks of starting your Case.
